How can I find the full text of an article if "Full Text Finder" doesn't work?

Full Text Finder tries to connect you to the electronic version of an article. So if Full Text Finder is not able to connect you directly to the full text on an article that means your next step is to see if the library has a print version of the article available.
To search to see if the library has a particular article in print, you will need to search the library catalog. Search for the title of the journal (not the article title). The search will most likely turn up a record in the catalog for the journal in paper format. Check to see if we have the journal for the year the article was published.
If we do have the correct year, write down the call number for the journal. You'll find this in the catalog record for the journal. For more information about reading a call number, take a look at our answer to the question, "What is a call number and how can I use it to find a book?"
If there isn't a print copy of the journal available at Auburn University Libraries, you may need to place an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) request for the article, which can be done by logging in to ILLiad.
