How many books/journals can I check out? And for how long?

Answer

To check out materials from Auburn University Libraries, you must present an active TigerCard in-person, read the circulation policies and procedures, sign the user circulation agreement, and abide by the regulations set forth in the Tiger Cub.  You are responsible for all library materials checked out with your TigerCard.  Overdue and recall notices are either e-mailed or mailed to the address you provided the library.  The library is not responsible for any unread e-mail or undeliverable mail.

TigerCards for undergraduate students, graduate students, and special borrowers are not transferable.  Conversely, TigerCards for active or retired faculty, active AU staff, and active Non-AU staff are transferable.

A lost TigerCard must be reported immediately to the TigerCard Center and the Circulation Office.  You must notify the Registrar's Office of any address change.

University faculty and staff must clear all library obligations before terminating university employment.
