What is Campus Delivery, and who can use it?

Answer

What is Campus Delivery?

Active faculty, staff and graduate students have two campus delivery options to:

  • request library materials to be checked out for pick up in the 1st floor atrium of the RBD Library,
  • request materials to be delivered between libraries, their department or their offices.
  • NOTE: unbound journal volumes are not eligible for this service. You must use unbound journal volumes in the owning library or request a copy of an article through AUBIExpress

Undergraduates have one campus delivery option to:

  • request materials between libraries

How does Campus Delivery work with Discovery or the Library Catalog?

  • In Discovery, look for the "Access Options" pulldown menu for the item you are interested in and choose Campus Delivery. Follow the prompts and you  taken to the partially filled out Campus Delivery form.
  • In the Library Catalog, use the "Campus Delivery" button, follow the prompts to get to the partially filled out form.

What Happens Next?

  •  Items should be delivered or available within 48 hours (not including weekends).
  • You will get an automated message that your request was received.
  • If you choose the “Pickup at RBD” or the library-to-library requests, you will get an email once the item has been put on the pickup/hold shelves in the library atrium on the 1st floor
  • If you choose to have the item delivered to your office, you will not receive an email about the item being delivered.
  • Outside of the pickup/library-to-library requests, the only time you should get an extra email is if there is an error somewhere, or the library needs some kind of clarification from you.

What do I do if I run into problems?

I can't submit the request, or the form won't load.

My requested item has not been delivered.
