How do I find books for my topic?
Answer
You can begin searching the library's Discovery search box directly from the libraries' home page. This box searches the library catalog as well as many of the Libraries' databases. If you'd like to search just the Library catalog, the link is located just below the Discovery search box.
If don't have an exact book or journal title you are looking for, you can type keywords into the Discovery search box and press enter. You will be able to filter your search just like you do at Amazon by selecting from the choices in the left-hand column.
Once you find the information for a book that interests you, make note of its call number, location, and availability, so that you can find in on the shelf. For help on call numbers, check out our FAQ What is a call number and how can I use it to find a book?
