Q. I'm having trouble logging into the library's databases.


Here are steps to try first:

  1. Try a different browser.  Sometimes Internet Explorer or Safari don't "play nice" with the library's databases.  Browsers like Chrome or Mozilla Firefox may work when others don't!
  2. Clear the browser cache (directions for clearing your browser cache can be found here). Try to access the database again.
  3. If you still can't get into the database, go to OIT's My Account page and synchronize your AU computing password. Allow 5 minutes for the updated password to take effect. Try accessing the database again.

If you still cannot access a database after following those steps listed above please email the Auburn University Libraries Systems Department with the following information:

  • Name

  • Browser
  • Database
  • Description of the problem encountered
  • Last Updated Apr 15, 2020
