How do I find impact factors for journals? (Journal Citation Report)

Answer

Web of Science's Journal Citation Reports is an excellent source for finding information about journal rankings. Follow the directions below to find impact factors, Eigenfactors, and Article Influence Scores for a specific journal or all journals for a discipline:

1. Getting to Web of Science or Journal Citation Reports

To get to Web of Science or Journal Citation Reports, click on the link "Databases" on the library's homepage (http://lib.auburn.edu/) and choose either the "J" or "W" depending on which database you want. If you're off-campus, at this point you'll be prompted to log in with your Auburn username and password.

2. Searching Journal Citation Reports

On the page that appears after clicking on "Journal Citation Reports" you can search for a specific journal title or search for journals in a particular discipline by clicking on "Select Category" and then selecting the discipline. This will give you a list of journals.
